Bath only
Mobile dog bath: what a bath-only visit costs
Not every visit needs a haircut. Here is what a bath-only visit includes, what it costs, and when it is enough.
What a bath visit includes.
Many bath packages include a bath, a blow-dry, a brush-out, and a nail trim. Many add ear cleaning and a tidy of the paws or face. Ask what the price covers, since it differs from groomer to groomer.
When a bath is enough.
Dogs with short coats, like Labs, often need only a bath and a nail trim now and then. Doodles and other dogs whose hair keeps growing still need haircuts, but some owners book a bath in between to keep the coat clean and free of mats.
Bath or full groom.
A full groom adds a haircut, so it takes longer and costs more. If your dog’s hair is getting in its eyes or matting, book the full groom.
For heavy shedders.
Ask for a deshedding bath. The groomer uses a special shampoo and a long brush-out to pull loose undercoat. 301 groomers we list offer it.
