How we handle your info.
You can look around without an account. If you send us a form, we need enough to read it and write back.
What we collect
The “Ask several groomers” tool builds your message on your own phone or computer. We never receive what you type there.
Our forms ask for your name, your email, and your message. We keep your email private, and it never shows on the site. Groomer phone numbers and websites are public, because they’re part of the listing.
Cookies
We set one cookie of our own, to keep our forms safe and to let our team sign in. We also count how often someone sends a form, so no one can flood us. That count uses a scrambled version of your network address. Our web host may keep logs of addresses and pages, like most hosts do. We don’t use ad trackers. We use PostHog and Google Analytics to learn which pages and groomers people use. They record clicks and page visits, and they set their own cookies to tell one visit from another. PostHog can also replay a visit, with anything you type hidden. Our maps load from OpenStreetMap, so your browser asks their servers for the map pictures.
How we use it
We use what you send to fix listings and keep records. We don’t sell it. When you click over to a groomer’s website, their privacy rules apply there.
Emails
If you ask for the checklist, we email it to you. If you gave us your town, we also email you when a new groomer starts serving it. Every email has a link to stop them. We send email through Resend.
We may email a groomer once about their free listing, using the email on their own website. Groomers can stop these emails with one click.
“Did they reply?”
After you use “Ask several groomers,” your browser remembers which groomers you contacted, so we can ask later if they wrote back. That list stays on your device. Your answer reaches us with no name, email, or IP address attached.
Questions
Use our fix form to ask about your info, or to ask us to change or remove a listing. Tell us enough to find the right record.
