Let’s talk pricing
How to compare mobile grooming prices
Two prices can look far apart because they pay for different work. Check what each price covers before you compare the numbers.
Ask each groomer for the same thing.
A bath and brush is not a haircut. Some groomers trim nails as part of the visit, and some charge extra. Describe the same pet and the same job to each groomer. Then the prices mean the same thing.
Share your ZIP code and your pet’s coat.
Big dogs and thick coats take longer, so they cost more. Your address matters too, so ask if the price covers the drive. A photo of your pet helps the groomer guess the time. The price can still change once they see the coat up close.
A “from” price is the lowest price.
A price that says “from $97” is for the smallest, easiest pets. For example, Fur Sure Grooming posts a separate starting price for nails, for a bath, and for a full groom. We show each one on its own, so you won’t mix up a bath price with a haircut price. Check the price with the groomer before you book.
Ask what happens if the job grows.
Ask how they charge for mats, extra time, or extra services. Will they call you before they add a charge? What if they can’t finish the haircut you asked for? A clear answer is worth more than a low price.
Keep a short list.
For each groomer, write down the total, what it covers, any extra fees, the deposit, and the cancel rules. Add the first day they can come. Then pick the one that fits your pet and your week. Fluffmobile doesn’t set prices or take payments.
